Location

We will be glad to help you make your travel arrangements form Delhi to the Villa and back. The ideal way to do it is to go up by car and come back by overnight train. This way you get to see the country side.

    Onwards: 5013 – Ranikhet Express – ETD Old Delhi Station 10.35 pm / ETA Kathgodam 5.45 am (next day)

    Return: 5014 – Ranikhet Express – ETD Kathgodam 8.40 pm / ETA Old Delhi Station 3.55 am (next day)

    Both trains start on time but usually arrive late (30 to 60 minutess). Villa Loshegani is located 70 km uphill form Kathgodam. The serpentine drive takes about 2 hours, and takes you through spectacular mountain landscape. If hill driving does not agree with your system, take an”Avomin”, about an hour before.

    We can arrange taxi pick-up and drop on request.

    We can arrange a car to drive you up to the Villa. To avoid traffic, we recommend a very early morning (4-5 am) departure ex Delhi. This way you arrive at the Villa just in time for Lunch…

    New Delhi – Happur (by pass)- Muradabad (by pass) – Tanda – Bajpur – Kaladhongi – Haldwani – Kathgodam – Bhimtal – Bhawali – Ramghar – Talla Ramghar – Nathuwakhan – Bhallar
  • Road Map from Delhi
    
  • Directions by road:
    • Exit New Delhi via Noida / Mayur Vihar Bridge and catch NH 24 direction Bareilly / Lucknow
    • Bypass Hapur, cross Ramganga and head towards Muradabad.
    • Take Muradabad bypass, and make a left U-turn immediately where the bypass ends.
    • Drive a few kilometres and look for a fork in the road – take the right fork towards Corbett Park.
    • About 5 kilometres down the road, look for an overhead (blue) signage showing right turn for Bajpur and Nainital.
    • Turn right and drive through Tanda and Bajpur till you reach Kaladhongi (about 90 -100 km).
    • Follow the directions to Haldwani till you reach Haldwani city centre.
    • Drive through Haldwani & Kathgodam on NH 87, direction Nainital.
    • A few kilometres past Kathgodam railway Station, the hills will start. Look for a right turn for Bhimtal (NH 87 goes straight to Nanital).
    • Turn right and drive uphill to Bhimtal; on towards Bhawali till you reach a sharp U bend in the road as you enter Bhawali.
    • Take the U and about 100 meters down the road; look for a right turn for Ramghar.
    • Drive uphill to Malla Ramghar, and then downhill to Talla Ramghar, and then further uphill on to Nathuwakhan.
    • At Nathuwakhan market, take a left turn for Hartola.
    • Drive exactly 5 km from the Nathuwakhan turning, to reach Bhallar on your left, just before a sharp right turn in the road.
    • Turn left off the main road, and drive through the Village (about 100 mts.) to reach a dead-end – green gate. Honk for staff to open the main gate.
