• Walks & treks: The immediate vicinity of Villa Loshegani provides excellent opportunities for walks through mountain sides, forests & valleys. A typical walk can take 3-5 hours. We can arrange for a picnic lunch en route and even a pick up at the end of the walk.
• Day trips: Destinations for day trips would include Nainital, Bhimtal, Naukuchiatal and Saatal all within a 1.5 hr driving radius. A drive down to the tea plantations at Sheetla Khet is a wonderful experience for those who have not been to a tea Estate before. Almora is just a couple of hours away and offers an opportunity to experience a small town in Kumaon.
• Overnight trips: Other popular destinations include Old Jageshwar temples, Chital Temples, Binsar, Kausani (both offer spectacular Himalayan views), Jim Corbert Park etc. For the more adventurous, Loshegani makes a great base to venture out for more extended trips to the ancient town of Pithoragarh and exciting alpine treks.
